Fair Usage Policy
Unlimited and inclusive allowances are designed for genuine customer use and may remain subject to network-specific fair-use and acceptable-use rules.
Plan-specific limits
There is no single Forge fair-use threshold that applies to every network. Domestic unlimited-data limits, roaming allowances and high-usage policies depend on the underlying network, wholesale profile and plan version. The applicable threshold or restriction will be shown in the plan or service information where it is material.
Forge will not apply an older or different network's threshold to your service simply because it appears elsewhere on the website. Your customer-specific service terms are the reference point.
Reasonable and permitted use
Services must not be used in a way that is fraudulent, artificial, unlawful, designed to generate excessive interconnect or premium-service traffic, or materially harmful to network integrity. Specialist IoT, router, multi-network or fixed-IP products may have their own permitted-use profile.
Roaming
Roaming is generally intended for periodic travel rather than permanent use abroad. Networks may apply separate roaming fair-use limits, monitoring periods, surcharges or restrictions. Forge will provide the relevant roaming position for the selected plan and will notify customers where a network requires action because of sustained or exceptional roaming use.
What happens if a limit is reached
Depending on the service, reaching a fair-use threshold may result in an additional charge, reduced functionality, a requirement to move to another plan, or restriction of the affected use. Forge will apply only the response permitted by the applicable service terms and regulatory requirements.
